Connecting with others only happens intentionally. As a communicator, you receive a response to the extent that you invest and prepare.

You can’t just step up to the microphone and expect to wow the crowd. First, you must step toward the audience relationally and emotionally by personalizing the message to suit their content.

People aren’t born with the ability to connect, nor does it develop by accident. Connection happens when people hone their skills and mine their experiences.

In the short run, people judge a leader on his or her communication skills.

In the long run, people follow what they see instead of what they are told. They can spot a fraud, and they will not go along with a leader unless they can trust the leader’s convictions and character.

Please note: this event repeats weekly at the same time each week – following the schedule below – for 1 hour until we have completed the book. Which will be about 6 weeks.
To join the course, you will need to have ordered, received and read the book before the first Mastermind group. It will take at least a week to read the book, but I suggest you allow three weeks. To order your book, Everyone Communicates, Few Connect, click here!.
We also have a few rules about participation, please check through these carefully before booking into the group:
1. Meetings will be held over skype video and you should ensure you are in a quiet space, free from interruption and ideally using headphones, during the meeting.
2. Mobiles and all other electronic devices must be turned off for the duration of the meetings.
3. Meetings will start 5 minutes before the alloted time to
allow people time to gather and welcome each other and we will end promptly; however, late arrivals will be allowed to enter the meeting.
4. Please let me know prior to the meeting if you are unable to attend.
5. We will share worksheets and ideas and actions that follow from the weekly meetings via our facebook group.
6. Please be ready for each meeting by preparing any background work and having recently re-read the relevant chapters.
7. Our meetings are fun and informal however, we will focus on how to build apply these lessons to both our business or work life and in our key relationships.
8. All members agree to engage with the material in an open and honest way, sharing experiences and agreeing to treat other member’s stories or questions respectfully and in confidence.
